What this site publishes
123Movies is a catalogue and discovery interface. It stores and serves no media files of any kind. Titles, artwork, synopses, ratings, credits and episode guides are retrieved from TMDB (The Movie Database) through their public API and displayed as reference information. Trailers, where available, are embedded from the official source identified by TMDB and play from that source.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Reporting a copyright concern
If you own rights to a work and believe material published here infringes those rights, send a notice containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL or URLs on this site where the material appears, with enough detail for it to be located.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Complete notices are reviewed and, where the claim is valid, the material identified is removed promptly. Incomplete notices cannot be actioned, so please include every item above.
A note on metadata
Because catalogue records here originate from TMDB, corrections to artwork, synopses or credits are usually best directed to TMDB, where the change will propagate to every service that uses their data — including this one. Requests that concern the underlying record rather than its display here will be pointed in that direction.
Counter-notice
If material was removed in error, a counter-notice may be submitted containing the identification of the removed material, its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and your contact details and signature.
